Windows Live Search Goes Live as Beta
Microsoft is trying to tackle its declining share in the search-engine market by
introducing new tools it says will make Web searching easier and more efficient.
Google talk of online storage service
The Web world was abuzz this week over rumors that Google is preparing a service
that will let people store every bit of their data online.
Cisco Systems is getting into the security surveillance market with the
acquisition of a company called SyPixx Networks.
Microsoft Corp. has reached a patenting milestone by logging its 5,000th patent
granted in the United States.
Microsoft Corp. said Tuesday that it has acquired Apptimum Inc., the creator of
the Alohabob PC Relocator software tool. -
Cebit opens up world of hi-tech in Hanover Germany.
